How the score is calculated

Twelve scored questions sit across six pillars of cross-border financial resilience: currency & income, tax & jurisdiction, pensions & retirement, succession & family, protection & liquidity, and advice & documentation. Each answer scores 0–3 points, where the strongest structural position scores 3 and "don't know" scores 0 — because uncertainty is itself a form of fragility. Questions that don't apply to you are excluded from your denominator rather than counted against you. Your overall score is your points as a percentage of your maximum available points. Three profile questions are unscored and used only for anonymised research.
